Required documentation

  • Passport
  • Full driving licence (held to a minimum of 2 years)
  • 23 years old is the minimun age

This documentation and your copy of the hire contract must be carried in the car at all times.

Payment

Payment can be made in advance by credit card, or upon delivery of the vehicle in cash (Euros) or by debit/credit card.

In signing the hire contract the hirer authorises Car Hire System to charge their debit/credit card with any amount pending at the end of the hire, whether for damage and repairs not covered by the insurance, fuel shortfall, etc to be itemised and advised by Car Hire System.

Fuel policy

All vehicles are delivered with a certain amount of fuel, which you will see on your copy of the contract (minimum ¼). We ask you to return the car with the same amount of fuel that was in it when you picked up your car

Collection and return of the vehicle

We will deliver your car to the airport or to your accommodation according to the specifications on your booking.

The car must be returned in the same condition in which you received it (apart from normal sand/dust etc). Charges will apply for wet upholstery, excessive stains, cigarette burns, etc.

Pick up and drop off time will be specified when you book your car.

Accident, breakdown and theft of the car

In the event of an accident please get in touch with the number that appears in the contract. We provide a roadside repair and towing service.

Changing a wheel in the event of a normal puncture is the responsibility of the hirer, but Car Hire System must be informed in order to provide a replacement spare.

We will be waiting in the arrivals hall, the rep will be carrying a folder with the car hire company name.

If you would like the car delivered elsewhere then we will make arrangements with you via email.

No matter what time your flight arrives we will be there to meet you!

You can either pay by credit or debit card at the time of booking your car, or when you collect your vehicle in Menorca (if paying on collection you can also pay cash if you wish).

There is NO deposit required.

All inclusive, Comprehensive insurance with no excess.

What we quote is what you Pay and includes:

  • Fees and taxes (VAT 21%)
  • Roadside assistance

  • Personalized service
  • Our best smile
  • Traffic fines.
  • Loss or damage to the keys.
  • Damage to tyres and wheel rims.
  • Damage to the underside of the vehicle.
  • Incorrect refuelling.

This should not be a problem as long as we have availability. We will always do our best to work something out.

Delivery/collection. If you would like the car delivered to your accommodation please let us know. There may be a charge depending on location.

If the vehicle is not returned with the correct amount of fuel you will be charged the difference.

In the event that the Hirer has to pay for any of the above items, please be assured that the company has no interest in making a profit on parts or labour.

We are sorry, the vehicles are not allowed to be taken off the island of Menorca.

Approximately half a tank of fuel is provided at the start of your hire (never less than a quarter). Please return it with the same amount.

We do not charge for boosters.
Standard baby seats (9 to 18kgs) daily charge of 2€ (VAT Inc.)
ISOFIX car seats (9 to 36kgs) daily charge of 3€ (VAT Inc.).
